Bead Expo Workshops
Interweave's Bead Expo features master instructors and 80 hands-on workshops
in a variety of media, techniques, and skill levels - including lampwork beadmaking,
metal clay, seed beading, wirework, felted jewelry and many more.
Register early to insure your seat in the workshops of your choice. A $10
on-site registration fee will be charged to students registering for classes at
the show. Online registration will close March 15, 2008.
Full-day workshops include a one-hour break for lunch.
Workshop students may attend VIP night and enter the Bazaar
(for bead shopping) for FREE.
All levels of seed bead classes use a needle and thread to stitch together small beads.
Knowing the stitch basics is a prerequisite for all intermediate and advanced classes.
Beginners are encouraged to review and practice stitches before class; use the basics section of stitches in any issue of Beadwork as a guide.
Be prepared with supplies to make your class experience a total success: most classes require you to bring beading needles, beading thread, scissors, a beading mat, and especially a task light with a long extension cord.
