Freeform Sculptural Necklace

The centerpiece is strawberry rutilated quartz. It is surrounded by freeform improvisational peyote stitch. Bead embroidery is used to attach the stone to suede. The remainder of the piece is all freeform improvisational work which incorporates crystals, pearls, and semiprecious stones with seed beads of various colors and sizes. Photo by Christine DeCoker.
