Silicone Rubber Compound
Castaldo® VLT™ (Very Low Temperature) jewelry molding rubber is designed
to make high volume production molds directly from CAD/CAM, rapid-prototyping,
and stereo lithography models quickly, without damage to the plastic originals.
Customers can make a conventional production mold with this new rubber directly
from their resin models. Castaldo® VLT™ can be vulcanized as low as
71°C/160°F — below the softening point of most plastic resins.
The molds created are tough enough for multi-part molds and molds with cores
and spiral cut outs. Waxes are self-releasing. Mold shrinkage is 1.4 percent.

and economical utilization of the wax. The tablet size is 6" x 2-5/8".
They are produced in four thicknesses and three colors/consistencies.

Angled Ring Clamp
Designed
by a stone setter, the Stone Setter’s Angled Ring Clamp securely
holds rings and other jewelry pieces while stone setting, engraving, repairing,
and finishing on the broad sides. It has a fixed surface that supports pieces

of hands or tools, and without covering the jewelry surface being worked. The
jaw also pivots to accommodate a variety of ring shapes and sizes, up to 9mm
wide. Two styles are being offered: the double-ended clamp used with a bench
pin, with different working angles on each end; and the set of two shorter single-ended
clamps that can be used with engravers, blocks, and bench vices. Call Stuller

LTV Mold Rubber
LTV Mold Rubber, from Cad Blu, is a new material for rubber mold-making. LTV
needs only one tenth of the clamping pressure of natural rubber. Additionally,
if using talc or casting powder, one can make a powder separation mold, eliminating
tedious slicing with an X-acto knife. No talc or silicone spray is required during
wax injection of LTV molds. Shrinkage is less than 0.2%. Contact 3D Factory,
